4、 新课程标准对写作教学的具体要求为：写前要激发灵感，兴趣。明确目的和读者对象；讨论主题，搜索素材，写提纲；写时活动包括写初稿，规划文章结构，填空，看图作文，连句成文；写后活动有自我修改，相互修改，个人和小组面批，检查语言、文法、逻辑、用词，润色，制作板报、墙报等。对于写作的评价也有具体的标准。（见附表）
综上所述，可见新课标把英文写作放在了一个非常重要的位置来要求和处理。这与我们日常教学中存在的一些想法和做法有较大差距。
