After so many years of learning English, I could say that the following points are the essential of increasing our interest in English effectively.
Firstly, whenever you are learning a foreign language, the most important thing that effects the level of language is vocabularies. It's advisable that we accumulate a large amount of vocabularies and phrases.
Secondly, try to speak English whenever and wherever you can. It's much better when you have a enclosed environment having English as your compulsary language, then you can improve exponentially.
Finally, maybe try to keep an English diary, it need not be hard, keep it simple but continuous,also read a lot of English novels, especially those that interest you. Just remember that English is not hard, but it does need a lot of practice.
