记得我过生日前几天，我着凉感冒了，半夜老咳嗽。有一天晚上，11点30分了，我还老咳嗽。还在客厅忙碌的爸爸听见了，赶紧跑进我房间，打开灯，看我躺在床上咳得喘不过气来，立刻焦急地问道：“怎么了？怎么老咳嗽呀？到底哪里不舒服啊？”我有气无力地说：“我老咳嗽，喉咙很不舒服，一咳起来就没完没了。”
爸爸听了，急切地说：“那你等一等，我去给你倒杯水、拿点药。”说完，就急匆匆地走出去了。这时，妈妈闻讯赶到，她看我这副难受的模样，立刻弯下腰来，眼里充满了泪水，关切地对我说：“你没事吧？怎么咳得没完没了啊？”“我的喉咙……不大舒……服。”
正说着呢，爸爸端着水拿着药进来了。妈妈扶起我，拿了一个枕头，垫在我后背，爸爸舀了一汤勺水轻轻地喂我喝下。接着妈妈把药水倒在汤勺里，送到我嘴边。我正想喝下，可又咳嗽起来了，妈妈赶紧拍拍我的后背。过了一会儿，我不咳嗽了，妈妈才喂我喝下药。
喝完药，妈妈亲切地对我说：“孩子，今天晚上妈妈陪你睡吧！”说着便陪我睡下。那天晚上妈妈一夜也没有睡，看我咳了没咳。我看到这一切，流下了泪水。
在我成长的道路上，爸爸妈妈关心我、呵护我，我该珍惜这份爱，更应该好好读书，报答他们对我深沉的爱。

“不对，肯定考的不好，”妈妈否定了刚才她的话“要是考得好早就告诉我了，还用犹豫吗？再说这些天也没见你做题，肯定考的不好。”
“再给你买两套试题多做做，不然再这么下去，就跟不上别人了！”妈妈再次认定了她的观点。
“可是我并没有考差呀！”我辩解道。
“是吗，只要差生才会觉得自己考的好呢！好学生不会认为自己考得好的，而会觉得自己还需要努力！”妈妈明显不相信我说的话。
“妈妈我的了满分，我没有考差，我不再是差生了！”我由于一时气愤，一口气说了出了这几句话。
“真的！”妈妈立即放下手中的活，“把你的卷子拿过来！”妈妈脸上明显浮出了喜悦的表情。
我把卷子拿了过去，妈妈急切地把手擦干，拿着卷子叫了起来，“呀！你考的那么好，是不是抄的呀！”啊？妈妈的脸又阴了下来。
“妈妈不要怀疑我了，我都是自己做的，如果你不信就向我提几道题！”
“好，把身子背过去！”妈妈一点也不信我。
妈妈向我提了几道题，我都答对了。妈妈愣了一下，高兴地说：“好女儿，我就知道你能考好！”
“那你还不信！”我心里小声嘀咕。
“好了，好了，不要不高兴了，是妈妈不对，不应该怀疑你！”妈妈一见我不高兴便安慰道。
