一般情况，报社是不采用外面投的新闻稿的。
新闻稿与文学类的稿件是不同的。新闻稿件是很严肃的，更重要的是报社的记者采写的新闻稿件，版权属于报社，记者的采访活动属于职务行为，是受到报社管理的。真实性，报社是要负责的。而外面的投稿（新闻稿），就很难确定真实性了。
你倒是可以为报社提供新闻线索。
不过也有通讯员的稿件。通讯员是报社自己发展的业余的新闻队伍。如果你所处的环境新闻很多，你自己又能写，那么就可以联系临近的报纸，问一问你可不可以加入他们的通讯员队伍。有的媒体是把报纸的订阅量和通讯员捆绑的，你们单位订上多少份报纸，就能得到一个通讯员的名额。通讯员经过报社组织的新闻专业培训，然后定期投递稿件就行了。当然，我非常反感的是一些稿件明明是通讯员“原创”的，某些记者一字不改，就挂上自己的名字。很不地道！
