The Tortoise and the Hare
龟兔赛跑
Once upon a time, there was a very fast hare. He liked running and always showed off how fast he could run.
很久很久以前，有一只跑的非常快的兔子。他很喜欢跑步，总是炫耀自己跑得有多快。
“Who wants to race me?” he asked.
“谁想和我赛跑？”他问道。
“I want to race you.” a slow tortoise challenged him.
“我想和你赛跑。”一只慢乌龟向他挑战。
All the animals went to watch the race.
所有的动物都去观看比赛了。
They shouted: “3… 2… 1… go!”
他们喊道：“3…2…1…开始！“
The hare ran very fast and the tortoise walked very slowly.兔子跑得很快，乌龟走得很慢。
Soon, the hare saw the finish line. The tortoise was far behind him, so the hare decided to stop and take a break. He fell asleep under a tree.
不久，兔子看到了终点线。乌龟远远地落在他后面，于是兔子决定停下来休息一会儿。他在一颗树下睡着了。
Later, the tortoise walked quietly past the sleeping hare. He didn’t stop walking until he reached the finish line.后来，乌龟悄悄地从睡着的兔子身边走过。他到达了终点线。
The animals cheered so loudly for tortoise that they woke the hare up.动物们大声地为乌龟欢呼，把兔子吵醒了。
The hare ran to the finish line, but he saw the tortoise had already won the race.兔子跑到终点线，但他看到乌龟已经赢得了比赛。
The tortoise smiled and said: “Slow and careful always win the race！”
乌龟笑着说：“慢慢地，小心地总是赢这场比赛！”
